Official Release Starts on the 24th
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon's book "Growth Again," which contains his five national growth visions, will begin pre-orders on the 14th.
According to Seoul City on the 13th, Mayor Oh presents five visions for "Korea Starting Again" and "Korea Growth Again (KOGA)" in his book. Pre-orders start on the 14th, and the official publication date is the 24th.
KOGA is a concept recently proposed by Mayor Oh. It borrows from Donald Trump's campaign slogan "MAGA (Make America Great Again)." Centered around KOGA, Mayor Oh has recently released a series of messages related to economic growth and deregulation.
The visions conveyed in the book all emphasize "togetherness" as a keyword. These include ▲Together with Challenge and Achievement ▲Together with the Vulnerable ▲Together with Future Generations ▲Together with Local Regions ▲Together with the International Community. It is expected to mention Mayor Oh's consistent emphasis on decentralization and securing nuclear potential through "deals" with the United States.
Earlier, on the 4th, after giving a lecture on "KOGA" at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mayor Oh said about the book, "Each point mentioned in the book may be perceived as segmented concepts such as economy, welfare, and trade, but if there is a consistent philosophy that connects them, it is the prosperity of the nation," adding, "In that sense, I named it 'Growth Again.'"
Meanwhile, the book is also reported to include a "final debate" between Mayor Oh and Professor Jin Joong-kwon. Through the dialogue with Professor Jin, Mayor Oh diagnoses the realities Korea faces, such as conflicts between conservatives and progressives, between older and younger generations, and issues like low birth rates and aging, and reviews possible solutions.
