Kim Dong-yeon on YouTuber's Accusation: "I Will Continue Solo Protest for 'Dismissal of the Chief of Rebellion'"

Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon did not waver in his determination to continue his solo protest, stating that he will raise his voice wherever necessary, whether 100 times or 1,000 times, in response to some far-right YouTubers filing a complaint against him for violating the National Public Service Act after he held a placard reading 'Dismiss the Leader of the Rebellion.'

On the 13th, after inspecting the situation regarding the explosion accident in Nogok-ri, Idong-myeon, Pocheon City, Governor Kim met with reporters and was asked how he felt about being reported to the Central District Prosecutors' Office for violating the National Public Service Act. He responded, "First of all, I don't understand what these far-right YouTubers, who are desperate to make money, are doing," and dismissed the issue by saying, "I don't even feel it's worth responding to each one."

He continued, "I want to say that I will continuously use words and actions within my power to expedite the impeachment of the rebellion's ringleaders," and asserted, "What the Republic of Korea needs most right now is the end of the rebellion, swift impeachment, and the removal of political uncertainty."

He also said, "For these reasons, I will raise my voice wherever necessary, whether 100 times or 1,000 times, and will not relent in my calls for early impeachment," adding, "If an investigation is conducted because of this, I will face it confidently 10 times, 100 times over."

Regarding the announcement of the audit results on the Yangpyeong Expressway, Governor Kim criticized, "The essence of this incident is to reveal who changed the route, why, and through what procedures, but there was not a single word about this. Instead, they are scapegoating the staff with disciplinary actions, which is a completely ineffective audit."

On support for the victims of the explosion accident in Nogok-ri, Pocheon, Governor Kim promised, "I informed the residents that we plan to proceed without delay with daily life recovery support funds, disaster consolation money, emergency disaster relief funds, and so on," and added, "In addition, measures for those whose homes were destroyed or are uninhabitable, an emergency response team for the injured, and road repaving issues will also be carried out without delay."
