On the afternoon of the 13th, the National Assembly announced that the resolution urging Chairman Ryu's resignation was approved with 153 votes in favor and 87 against out of 240 members present.

The resolution mainly calls for Chairman Ryu, who is suspected of soliciting complaints, to resign due to acts such as perjury, instructing internal members to commit perjury, and retaliatory personnel actions, and urges a swift investigation into the related allegations.

Chairman Ryu is suspected of soliciting complaints to the Korea Communications Standards Commission regarding specific reports from interested parties.

The proposal requesting an audit by the Board of Audit and Inspection concerning allegations of complaint solicitation and concealment by the Chairman was also approved with 156 votes in favor and 86 against out of 242 members present.

Before the vote, lawmakers from both ruling and opposition parties engaged in a tense exchange. Voices from the opposition asked, "How can anyone oppose this?" while the ruling party shouted, "Make sure to fully understand the content."

Both proposals were passed with overwhelming support from the opposition, but most ruling party lawmakers voted against them. When the voting board showed a red light indicating opposition next to the names of ruling party members, opposition lawmakers criticized them from various seats, saying, "They are supporters of insurrection," and "They are experts in supporting insurrection."

Meanwhile, the adoption of the report on the national investigation into allegations of insurrection through the declaration of martial law by the Yoon Seok-yeol administration was also approved with 151 votes in favor and 85 against out of 236 members present. Opposition lawmakers mocked ruling party members who voted against it, saying, "They are the party of insurrection," and "The People Power Party is the insurrection party."
