Abko Reports 4.8 Billion KRW Operating Profit Last Year... "Will Continue Performance Improvement"

Abko announced on the 13th that its operating profit last year was 4.8 billion KRW, an increase of 124% compared to the previous year. During the same period, sales amounted to 93.4 billion KRW, and net profit was 4.7 billion KRW.

A company representative said, "Profit margins have increased due to cost efficiency and expansion of high value-added product lines," adding, "We expect the trend of performance improvement to continue through further expansion of high value-added products and the Pad Bank business."

The company explained that it expects a quantum leap in performance through its newly entered AI server supply business in November last year. In November, Abko signed a contract to supply AI servers with Leadtek Group, a global graphic card design and manufacturing specialist. Abko serves as the official Korean distributor of Leadtek Group and receives AI servers from them.

An Abko representative explained, "The utilization of AI is increasing across all industries and its scope is also expanding," adding, "Various AI utilization plans are being explored by public institutions, schools, and companies in Korea."

The public project to supply Pad Banks, which Abko is carrying out through tasks assigned by the Seoul and Gyeonggi Provincial Offices of Education, is growing every year. The Pad Bank, a charging and storage cabinet first launched domestically, is also being promoted for export to overseas markets such as Europe and Southeast Asia.

The representative emphasized, "We will continue growth in scale and profitability based on the expansion of the existing high value-added gaming gear product lines, growth of the public business division, and new entry into the AI server market," and added, "We will secure industry-leading production capacity and competitiveness through the expansion of the Gimpo production plant."

Abko is building a factory in Gimpo City with a site area of approximately 7,000 pyeong and a building area of about 5,000 pyeong to strengthen production and logistics capabilities in line with business expansion.
