KB Kookmin Bank Supports Youth Preparing for Independence with 'Social Settlement Support Program'


KB Kookmin Bank held the launch ceremony of the 'Youth Preparing for Independence Social Settlement Support Program' on the 12th to help youth preparing for independence establish a stable foothold in society.


This program is a social contribution activity by KB Kookmin Bank that supports youth preparing for independence to achieve economic and social independence.


KB Kookmin Bank provides 200 youth preparing for independence with independence support funds along with a systematic capacity-building and employment linkage program, including ▲career exploration ▲academic achievement ▲certification acquisition ▲employment consulting ▲internship connections. Additionally, networking activities among participants and expert mentoring are conducted to support the social independence of the youth.


The launch ceremony was attended by youth preparing for independence participating in the program, taking their first step toward independence. A special lecture prepared by Korea Polytechnic University was also held to share successful employment cases and encourage the future of youth preparing for independence.


A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "We will spare no practical support to help youth preparing for independence, who are taking their first steps into society, grow into healthy members of society," adding, "KB Kookmin Bank will work together to ensure that the youth, the protagonists of the future generation, can grow healthily."


Meanwhile, since 2006, KB Kookmin Bank has been carrying out its representative social contribution project, 'KB Dream Wave 2030,' to address educational disparities and opportunity inequalities among youth and to nurture future talents. Focusing on three areas?▲learning ▲career ▲infrastructure?it has provided customized programs for each growth stage, supporting over 200,000 youth over 19 years.
