The Pusan National University Library (Director: Woo Kyun, Professor of Computer Engineering) will host a special lecture featuring author Kim Tak-hwan on the 20th at 2:00 PM at the Saebyeokmaru Hall in the Saebyeokbeol Library on campus.
This lecture, titled "War and Love: The Case of Artist Lee Jungseop," will focus on Kim Tak-hwan's new book, "It Was Truly Wonderful - Lee Jungseop's Best Days." The event will highlight the impact of World War II and the Korean War on Lee Jungseop's art and life, and will explore his deep love for family and art through his paintings.
The novel "It Was Truly Wonderful," which will be discussed during the lecture, is set in the 1950s, when Lee Jungseop was most active in his creative work while living in Jeju, Busan, and Tongyeong.
