Gyeonggi Office of Education Prepares 'Comprehensive Audit Plan' for 898 Institutions

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has established a comprehensive audit plan for 898 institutions this year.

On the 13th, the Office announced that it will conduct comprehensive audits on 8 education support offices, 6 directly affiliated institutions, and 884 schools by establishing its own audit implementation plan for this year.

The Office will first shift to a performance-centered 'consulting audit,' focusing on selection and concentration, key issues, and autonomous consulting audits outside of intensive audit areas. Additionally, audits will be conducted without paper documents, such as year-end tax adjustments and student attendance records.

To strengthen the capabilities of audit personnel, the Office will carry out ▲ audit job training courses ▲ operation of regional councils for communication and cooperation ▲ on-site audit support consultations (consulting).

Furthermore, to foster a proactive work atmosphere, measures such as expanding pre-consultations (consulting), discovering cases of exemption for proactive administration, and providing incentives such as selection and rewards for outstanding public officials will be introduced.

Also, to improve audit operations, the Office will promote the publication of its own audit practical manuals, reduction of submission document formats, and reduction of materials kept in audit rooms.
