'Saessakjikimi Hospital' is designated to strengthen the role of medical institutions within the child abuse response system and provide medical support for abused children. It supports prompt examination, treatment, and counseling for children in need of protection. If necessary, it reports abuse cases or provides medical consultation to the city and police. The city covers medical expenses for examinations and treatments of abused (or suspected abused) children.
With the designation of Seoul Medi Clinic, the number of Saessakjikimi Hospitals in the Osan area has expanded to a total of five, including the existing Osan Hanguk Hospital, Seoul Children's Hospital, Haengbokjuneun Clinic, and Welbom Hospital.
Lee Kwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, "We will continue to actively cooperate with related organizations such as medical institutions and the police to ensure the safety of children and create a healthy growth environment."
