Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to strengthen strategic cooperation and, based on this, focus on developing region-specific educational programs and nurturing local talent.

The signing ceremony was attended by County Governor Kim Kwangyeol and Caroline University Korea President Kim Kwangsu, who agreed to reinforce strategic cooperation and work together to develop customized educational programs and foster local talent.

The areas of cooperation include: △ discovering outstanding students for talent cultivation △ providing opportunities to participate in high-quality education △ recommending Caroline University scholarship recipients and offering admission privileges.

Accordingly, the two institutions expressed their commitment to opening a new chapter for the local community and global education by developing AI convergence business education and regionally customized lifelong learning programs.

County Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "This cooperation with Caroline University goes beyond simple business collaboration and establishes a strategic partnership for joint growth between the local community and a global educational institution," adding, "It will serve as an important opportunity to build a sustainable development model and future-oriented education for the region."

Caroline University is a global university that operates bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs on a three-semester system (January, May, and September), offering various business-related disciplines including an AI convergence business department, as well as business-based academic programs.

Yeongdeok-gun is focusing on nurturing regionally specialized talent to address the crisis of local extinction and aging population. For this purpose, the county has established and is operating local academic departments that reflect the region's characteristics and needs, such as opening the Yeongdeok Regional Care Department in cooperation with Daegu Haany University.

Accordingly, Daegu Haany University Yeongdeok Campus provides an educational environment where students can balance work and study, and is also working to strengthen local residents' capabilities and improve settlement conditions.
