Namwon City to Hold 'Agricultural Specialty Festival' on the 30th of Next Month

Held at the Yocheon Riverside Area under Seungwolgyo Bridge in Front of Gwanghalluwon

The Namwon Agricultural Technology Center in Jeonbuk will hold the 'Agricultural Specialty Products Festival' from April 30 to May 6 at the Yocheon riverside area under Seungwolgyo Bridge in front of Gwanghalluwon.

According to the Namwon Agricultural Technology Center on the 13th, this Agricultural Specialty Products Festival, held in conjunction with the 95th Chunhyang Festival, has been organized to increase the income of Namwon's farmers and small business owners and to revitalize the local economy.

The city recruited sellers through an announcement on its website, allowing Namwon farmers and small business owners to sell high-quality agricultural specialty products at affordable prices. Fifty businesses applied, and together with related organizations, experience and sales booths will be operated.

There will also be tasting events featuring barbecue, Makgeolli, Bugak, and other representative foods of Namwon, allowing visitors to sample them.

Stage events will include Chunhyang Golden Bell, King of Rock-Paper-Scissors, Surprise Karaoke, and instant prize draws, making it a festival where citizens and tourists can both taste and participate in various activities.

An official from the Namwon Agricultural Technology Center said, "We hope this festival will further increase the income of Namwon's farmers and small business owners and revitalize the local economy," adding, "We will continue to do our best to showcase Namwon's high-quality agricultural specialty products."
