Woori Financial Group Sweeps Two Categories at the 'Good Advertising Awards'

Woori Financial Group (Chairman Lim Jong-ryong) announced on the 13th that it won two awards at the '33rd Consumer-Selected Good Advertising Awards.'


Started in 1993 and now in its 33rd edition, the 'Consumer-Selected Good Advertising Awards' is the only consumer-participation advertising award in Korea, jointly hosted by the Korea Advertisers Association and the Council of Consumer Organizations, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.


Woori Financial Group won in the TV category with the 'Woori Financial Group's New Year's Letter' ad and in the digital category with the 'Woori Rookie Project with Woori Momocon' ad, achieving two awards.


'Woori Financial Group's New Year's Letter' is an advertisement that conveys the commitment to be the financial institution that reaches customers first. It features an emotional message delivered in letter format by brand ambassador IU. The video, which captures sunrises and everyday life, received great response on social media, recording over 10 million views.


'Woori Rookie Project with Woori Momocon' is an advertisement introducing the 'Woori Rookie Project,' held for two consecutive years at 'Woori Momocon,' a social contribution concert hosted by Woori Financial Group. This video introduces the 'good influence of Woori' through real treatment support cases for children from vulnerable groups with visual and auditory impairments.


Meanwhile, Woori Financial Group also received the finalist award for both ads at the 'Seoul Video Advertising Festival 2024.' This is the third award following group PR video wins in 2021 and 2022.
