Guro-gu to Provide 10 Million KRW Support for '2025 Home Parking Lot' Development

10 Million KRW Support for Demolishing Fences and Creating Parking Lots...
Up to 30 Million KRW Including Construction Costs per Parking Space
Up to 3 Million KRW per Space for Utilizing Leftover or Vacant Land, Additional Support of up to 1.5 Million KRW per Space for Over 20 Spaces

Guro-gu is promoting the ‘2025 Naejip Parking Lot Creation Project’ to secure insufficient parking spaces in residential areas.

The Naejip Parking Lot Creation Project involves demolishing fences and gates to create parking lots or utilizing leftover land to establish parking spaces, saving significant budget and time required for parking lot construction.

The project targets single-family, multi-family, and multi-household residences, neighborhood living facilities, apartments, and leftover land.

First, for single-family, multi-family, multi-household houses, row houses, and neighborhood living facilities where parking lots can be created by demolishing fences or gates, 10 million KRW is supported per one parking space. An additional 2 million KRW is provided for each additional parking space, up to a maximum of 30 million KRW including parking lot construction costs. However, neighborhood living facilities must allow sharing of the parking lot with residents or nearby neighbors at night.

In the case of apartments, the project can proceed only if at least two-thirds of all residents agree within half the range of auxiliary and welfare facilities. Support is provided up to 50% of the parking lot construction cost, with 1 million KRW per parking space. Each apartment complex can receive up to 50 million KRW.

When creating parking lots on privately owned or national/public leftover land or vacant lots, up to 3 million KRW per parking space is supported, and if exceeding 20 spaces, an additional support of up to 1.5 million KRW per space is provided. Landowners can receive parking operation income or be exempted from property tax under the condition of land use for more than one year.

For more details, visit the Guro-gu Office website or contact the Parking Management Division.

A Guro-gu official said, “By creating Naejip parking lots, vehicle owners can secure parking spaces themselves and provide them to neighbors, forming a new parking culture and effectively alleviating parking difficulties. We ask for your interest and participation.”

Last year, the district created 14 parking spaces and has secured a cumulative total of 4,765 parking spaces since 2004, contributing to the resolution of parking difficulties in residential areas.
