Yeonggwang County in Jeollanam-do will continue to support living logistics (parcel delivery) fees for island residents this year, following last year.

The parcel delivery fee support project provides additional delivery fee subsidies to residents who have their address and actually reside in island areas. Up to 400,000 KRW per person per year is provided for the actual additional delivery fees incurred.

Island residents who wish to receive support for additional parcel delivery fees can apply at the county office or township office by submitting an application form, a copy of the parcel delivery invoice, and other supporting documents such as proof of payment. After verification, the subsidy will be deposited into the applicant's personal account.

A county official stated, "We hope that the support for additional parcel delivery fees will help alleviate the logistics burden in the daily lives of island residents," and added, "We will continue to develop support measures that can be tangibly felt by island residents in their everyday lives."
