The Gyeonggi Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced on the 13th that it held the "7th Gyeonggi Northern Fire Safety Instructor Competition" on the 12th to strengthen the capabilities of fire safety instructors and share effective safety education methods.

This competition, themed "Life Safety for the Elderly," featured 11 instructors selected from 11 fire stations in northern Gyeonggi. Participants delivered 15-minute presentations simulating practical lectures using creative teaching methods and effective lecture techniques.
As a result of the competition, the grand prize was awarded to Fire Sergeant Kim Bomi of Goyang Fire Station. The excellence award went to Fire Corporal Go Nayeon of Paju Fire Station, and the encouragement award was given to Firefighter Kim Hyewon of Ilsan Fire Station. Awardees received certificates from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province, and the grand prize winner will participate in the national competition.
Hong Jangpyo, head of the Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters, stated, "We plan to continue implementing various programs to enhance instructors' capabilities for qualitative improvement of fire safety education," adding, "We will actively support the awardees to achieve excellent results in the national competition as well."
Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi Northern Fire and Disaster Headquarters plans to make continuous efforts to provide more effective safety education to residents, using this competition as an opportunity.
