Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in the Middle East trade promotion group for machinery parts until the 21st.
The Gyeonggi Province trade promotion group is a project that recruits export small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to develop overseas export channels, dispatches them abroad, and supports one-on-one export consultations between local buyers and participating companies.
Eligible applicants are manufacturing SMEs with headquarters or factories located in Gyeonggi Province, whose direct export amount last year was less than 20 million USD.
Selected companies will receive support for arranging one-on-one consultations with local buyers, renting consultation venues, interpretation services, local transportation, and airfare (one person per company, 50% of airfare).
Among these, the machinery parts Middle East trade promotion group plans to dispatch to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where demand for machinery parts is rapidly increasing due to large-scale infrastructure construction.
Companies wishing to participate should prepare related documents such as a business registration certificate and export performance certificate, and apply by the 21st through the Gyeonggi Business Secretary website (www.egbiz.or.kr).
Park Kyung-seo, Director of the International Trade Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "With the spread of economic nationalism worldwide and the intensification of US-China trade conflicts, this trade promotion group is expected to provide a new opportunity for SMEs in the machinery parts sector in the province facing difficulties in expanding overseas."
