Construction-Ready-Mix Concrete Industry Reaches Unit Price Negotiation Agreement... Down 2.5% Compared to Previous Year Yonhap News

The Korea Construction Materials Workers' Council (Geonjahui) and Yeongwoohoe, a group of remicon companies in the metropolitan area, held the 11th negotiation session at Lotte Construction headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and decided the price for this year at 91,400 KRW per cubic meter (㎥).

This is a 2.5% decrease from last year's price of 93,700 KRW.

In the 10th negotiation held earlier this month, Geonjahui proposed 90,900 KRW, while Yeongwoohoe proposed 91,900 KRW, narrowing the price gap between the two sides to 1,000 KRW.

In the 9th negotiation, the price difference proposed by both sides was 2,600 KRW.

Initially, the remicon industry maintained a stance that price increases were impossible when negotiations began in November last year, but from the 9th negotiation, they shifted to a price reduction position, accelerating the negotiation process.
