The county is currently running a 'Resource Circulation Item Exchange Program,' where residents can exchange used batteries, paper packs, used ice packs, and transparent PET bottles for new batteries or standard garbage bags (20L). This initiative is being continuously promoted.

The new 'Recycling 2 Day' will be held on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, and on these days, the exchanged items will be doubled to encourage more active participation from residents.

The operation method of Recycling 2 Day remains the same as before. During office hours at town and township offices, if residents bring in 10 used batteries, 1,545 paper packs, 2,030 transparent PET bottles, or 3 used ice packs, they can exchange them for one set of batteries or one standard garbage bag (20L).

On Recycling 2 Day, the amount of exchanged items will be doubled, and each person can exchange up to 40 sets (bags) per day.

Kim Jusu, the governor of Uiseong County, said, "We hope this program will increase residents' participation in recycling and waste separation," adding, "We ask for much interest and participation to promote the production of high-quality recycled goods and resource circulation."
