Uijeongbu-si and LH Sign Business Agreement for Community-Linked Change-Up Project

Uijeongbu City and LH Join Hands
to Improve Living Environment in Aging Residential Complexes

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) on the 12th in the mayor's office for the 'Uijeongbu Jangam 1 Complex Regional Linkage Change-up Project.'

At the signing ceremony, Mayor Kim Dong-geun and LH President Lee Han-jun attended to discuss cooperation plans for the successful promotion of the project and reaffirmed their mutual commitment to collaboration.

The 'Regional Linkage Change-up Project' is a project in which local governments and LH cooperate to improve facilities in aging residential complexes and renovate public spaces to enhance residents' quality of life.

According to this agreement, LH will improve the aging facilities within Jangam 1 Complex and open them to local residents, while the city plans to improve the public green space environment around the complex to create a resident-friendly space.

Upon completion of the project, a pleasant living environment will be established, and residents are expected to enjoy more convenient living infrastructure.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "By cooperating with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) to improve aging residential complexes and public spaces, this will be an opportunity to enhance the quality of life for residents," adding, "We will continue to strive for the steady promotion of the project so that residents can feel the changes."
