Emart announced on the 13th that it will hold a seasonal food event for one week starting from the 14th.

First, 'Daejeo Tomato 1kg' will be sold for 9,000 won as a seasonal fruit. This is a 2,500 won discount from the regular price of 11,500 won. 'Daechu Cherry Tomato 1kg' will be sold for 8,980 won with a 3,000 won discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated. From the 1st to the 7th of this month, Emart's tomato sales increased by 27.4% compared to the same period last year.

Emart planned the event products using only medium and small-sized tomatoes for this event. They prepared a total quantity of 80 tons by integrating purchases with Emart Everyday and Traders. Salty tomatoes are the most affordable and delicious fruit to enjoy in mid-March. This year, tomato shipments have increased and prices have stabilized due to longer sunlight hours and reduced pest damage.

Strawberry and vegetable events will also be held. All varieties of domestic strawberries such as Janghee, Geumsil, Kingsberry, Arihyang, and Mannyeonseol will offer a 3,000 won discount when using the Shinsegae point card. Geumsil strawberries 500g are sold for 11,880 won, and Janghee strawberries 750g for 18,900 won. For vegetables, six types of representative spring greens including Cheongdo water parsley, pre-cut chive, chive, spring cabbage, wild mountain greens, and mugwort will be discounted by 20% when paying with event cards. From the 14th, for three days over the weekend, one bunch (850g) of soil-grown green onions will be sold for 2,480 won. The event cards include Emart e-Card, Samsung, KB Kookmin, Shinhan, NH Nonghyup, Woori, and Lotte cards.

For seafood, thawed semi-dried kodari (pollack) 5 pieces, squid 3 pieces, jangmun rockfish 2 pieces, and cuttlefish 2 pieces will each be sold for 9,900 won.

All antibiotic-free chicken parts will be discounted by 20% when accumulating Shinsegae points. 'Chicken Breast Oriental Salad (209g)', 'Chicken Caesar Salad (210g)', and 'Ricotta Balsamic Salad (226g)' will each be sold for 3,980 won, discounted by 1,000 won. Additionally, 'Colorful Yubu Sushi' and 'Classic Yubu Sushi' will be sold for 5,584 won and 6,384 won respectively with a 20% discount when accumulating Shinsegae points. The 'Junmai Polar Bear's Tears Cherry Blossom Exclusive Glass Set (720ml)' will be sold for 20,800 won.
