Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Byung-su) announced on the 12th that it held the 2nd Job Seeker and Employer Meeting Day event on the 11th at the Tongjin-eup Administrative Welfare Center's main conference room.

On that day, a total of 58 job seekers attended on-site interviews with 5 companies, among whom 6 passed the interviews, and 21 will have their employment decisions made after separate second interviews with the companies.

At the 'Job Seeker and Employer Meeting Day,' hiring companies aim to recruit suitable talent, while job seekers gain opportunities by exploring information about desired companies, thereby working to resolve job mismatches through on-site interviews. During this event, various employment information and support guidance services necessary for job seekers were provided, including career counseling for women with career interruptions by the Gimpo Women's New Start Center, promotion of the National Employment Support System by the Employment Center, and on-site consultations by the Microfinance Support Center.

Meanwhile, Gimpo City plans to hold a Gimpo City Job Fair on April 23 at the Gimpo Citizens' Hall, offering one-on-one on-site interviews with 25 hiring companies as well as various consulting services and programs.
