Held for Five Days from the 24th to the 28th
Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 12th that it will hold a public contest for the 2025 'AI Classroom Construction' project for five days from the 24th to the 28th.
This project aims to strengthen the artificial intelligence (AI) education environment and provide various educational content and equipment so that students can learn and utilize AI, a core technology of the future.
The contest will select two elementary, middle, or high schools within Dongducheon City, excluding Hanbitnuri Middle School and Dongducheon High School, which have already received support. The selected schools will be supported with up to 122.5 million KRW each from the total budget of 245 million KRW. In particular, this 'AI Classroom Construction' project is a newly launched contest by Dongducheon City, offering students the opportunity to participate autonomously.
A Dongducheon City official said, "We expect this project to provide an innovative educational environment for students in the city and contribute to raising the level of AI education in the region," and added, "We ask for the active interest of schools in the city."
