Promoting Successful Settlement of Young Participants in the Neighbor Village Expansion Project
Kim Kwangyeol, Governor of Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province, held a communication meeting on the 12th at Gwanuidae in Sangdaesan, Yeonghae-myeon, to listen to the concerns of young people who have relocated to the region through the Neighbor Village Expansion Project and to share opinions for their stable settlement in the area.
Governor Kim had previously agreed to hold regular meetings for the stable settlement and improvement of living conditions for young residents during an on-site discussion with the youths who moved into the shared housing 'STAY 374' on April 4th.

At this recent meeting, young entrepreneurs who are engaged in various start-up activities utilizing local specialties shared the difficulties and suggestions they encounter on site. Governor Kim listened attentively to their voices and promised to reflect them in preparing policy alternatives.
Additionally, the event provided an opportunity for the youths to promote their business ideas, and their opinions were collected to discover tourism business items utilizing the outstanding natural scenery of Gwanuidae and to reflect them in policy.
Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "We will spare no practical support so that young people can live stably in the region and find new opportunities," and added, "By actively communicating with the youth, we will work together to solve the difficulties they face during the settlement process."
