On the 11th, Democratic Party members Jeon Jinsook (Gwangju Buk-gu-eul) and Kim Moonsu (Jeonnam Suncheon, Gwangyang, Gokseong, Gurye-gap) held a "Shaving Ceremony Calling for the Early Dismissal of Yoon Suk-yeol" on the steps in front of the National Assembly's main building, urging the Constitutional Court to promptly remove President Yoon Suk-yeol from office.

Jeon Jinsook stated, "It has been 98 days since martial law was declared. Having experienced May 1980, I know well what the declaration of martial law can lead to," and added, "Watching the actions of these so-called legal professionals trampling on the democracy of this land, which has grown from the anger rising from the pit of my stomach and the 5.18 of my hometown Gwangju, I have suffered from humiliation and shame."

She continued, "It is simply unbelievable that the courts and prosecutors have released those who declared martial law and incited rebellion," and emphasized, "I will weave my hair into straw shoes and send them to the Constitutional Court justices. Even if I have to throw myself, I want to convey to the justices the sleepless anxiety of the people and their earnest desire for Yoon Suk-yeol's dismissal."

Jeon appealed to the Constitutional Court, saying, "Please do not delay. The only way to quell national confusion and public anxiety is a prompt decision by the Constitutional Court."

Kim Moonsu said, "I agonized a lot before deciding to shave my head. Now that the ball is in the Constitutional Court's court, this is the only choice left for me," and declared, "Through this head-shaving, I want to deliver an urgent cry to the people. As a member of the National Assembly representing the people and as an opposition lawmaker, if I can prevent this unjust reality, I will gladly shave my head."

He emphasized to the Constitutional Court, "There is no more time to hesitate," and said, "The dismissal of Yoon Suk-yeol is not merely a matter of legal interpretation, but a question of whether to protect democracy in the Republic of Korea or to retreat down the path of dictatorship."

Kim also asserted, "Today's head-shaving is not just an act of resistance, but a pledge to fight to the end with the people, a resolution to bring down Yoon Suk-yeol and his rebellious faction, and a determination not to take a single step back," and added, "The Constitutional Court must make a prompt decision. Only by dismissing Yoon Suk-yeol can Korea stand upright and remain a democratic nation."

Meanwhile, Jeon Jinsook, Kim Moonsu, and Park Hongbae participated in the head-shaving ceremony that day.
