[Featured Stock] Clobot Valued at 5 to 11 Trillion Won by Boston Dynamics... To Be Integrated into Hyundai Motor by Year-End

As of 2:34 PM on the 11th, Clobot was trading at 21,450 KRW, up 2,140 KRW (11.08%) from the previous trading day.

According to Hyundai Motor Group, Boston Dynamics is currently conducting AI training to deploy Atlas in production processes. Atlas is a bipedal robot that walks, moves, and works autonomously like a human. It can perform various movements, including 360-degree rotation. Hyundai Motor Group expects that deploying Atlas for repetitive tasks such as parts transportation will significantly increase productivity.

Song Seonjae, a researcher at Hana Securities, explained, "Boston Dynamics plans to commercialize the humanoid robot Atlas by 2028," and added, "Considering the high growth of the global humanoid robot market, Boston Dynamics' technological capabilities, and synergies with Hyundai Motor Group, we anticipate an increase in corporate value."

He continued, "Having a captive market in Hyundai Motor Group positively affects the valuation of Boston Dynamics," and noted, "Considering that the valuation of recently unlisted humanoid robot companies is around 4 trillion KRW on average, Boston Dynamics' corporate value can also be assessed at over 4 trillion KRW."

He stated, "We evaluate Boston Dynamics' corporate value in the range of 4 trillion to 10 trillion KRW, but if the market grows optimistically and Boston Dynamics secures market share, it could be valued as high as 15 trillion to 30 trillion KRW," emphasizing, "In an optimistic scenario, applying a price-to-earnings ratio (PER) of 28 to 38 times, Boston Dynamics' corporate value is estimated between 20.8 trillion KRW and 37.4 trillion KRW." Additionally, he said, "In an average scenario, applying a PER of 23 to 33 times, the corporate value can be estimated between 5.4 trillion KRW and 11.7 trillion KRW."

Boston Dynamics plans to enhance technological completeness by the end of the year, conduct pilot operations at Hyundai Motor Group's domestic and overseas production plants, and after a three-year mass production preparation period, commercialize the robot by 2028.

The factories considered for Atlas' trial deployment include Hyundai Motor Group's Meta Plant America (HMGMA) located in Georgia, USA, and the EVO Plant in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, which is Kia's PBV (Purpose Built Vehicle) dedicated factory scheduled to start full operation in July. At Hyundai Motor Group's Singapore Global Innovation Center, Boston Dynamics' quadruped robot dog "SPOT" has already been deployed.

Clobot recently signed a contract worth 2 billion KRW with Hyundai Motor Company, accelerating its efforts to secure large corporate clients. In November last year, Clobot was selected as the final contractor for Incheon International Airport Corporation's "Quadruped Robot Purchase and Installation Project" using Boston Dynamics' quadruped robot SPOT, with whom it has a strategic partnership.
