Iksan City Recruits 'Youth Addiction Prevention Supporters'

Applications Accepted Until the 18th
For Young People Aged 18 to 39

Jeonbuk Iksan City Addiction Management Integrated Support Center (Director: Lee Hyunki) is recruiting the 3rd class of 'Youth Addiction Prevention Supporters' for young people aged 18 to 39 until the 18th.


According to the center on the 11th, the youth supporters being recruited this time will raise awareness about the harms of the four major addictions?alcohol, gambling, internet/smartphones, and drugs?and carry out various activities to prevent addiction in the local community.

Main activities include participating in events and campaigns related to addiction harm prevention, competency enhancement training, and online/offline promotional activities to improve awareness. These activities will take place from next month until December.


Supporter activities are recognized as volunteer hours, and appointment certificates and support for activity materials are provided. Upon completion, a certificate of completion is issued, and outstanding supporters are selected and awarded.


Director Lee Hyunki said, "Through supporter activities in which young people participate directly, we will raise awareness of the importance of addiction prevention and strengthen promotion so that young people in need can receive support at any time."


Meanwhile, Iksan City Addiction Management Integrated Support Center is conducting various addiction prevention projects, including the four major addiction screening tests, counseling, prevention education, and awareness improvement campaigns, in addition to the supporter program.
