On the 11th, Seosan City in Chungnam Province announced that it will conduct a comprehensive survey of the national control points installed within its jurisdiction.

National control points refer to the basic survey benchmarks designated by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport at key locations across the country to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of surveying.

The survey will target the national control points installed in Seosan City as of December 31 of last year, including 78 triangulation points, 27 leveling points, and 29 integrated control points, totaling 134 points.

From this month until October, responsible public officials will conduct on-site inspections, classifying the condition of the national control point markers, protective stones, and protective concrete as intact, missing, damaged, or defective.

Cho Joohyung, head of the city's Land Management Division, said, "We expect that the comprehensive survey of national control points will improve the accuracy and reliability of surveying," adding, "We will do our best to contribute to the protection of citizens' property rights through thorough investigations."
