Active Communication with Residents
Muan County, Jeonnam (Kim San) announced on the 11th that it had concluded the 'Dialogue with Residents' held in nine towns and townships, finishing with Samhyang-eup on the 10th.
This round of dialogue with residents began on the 5th in Muan-eup and Haeje-myeon, continued on the 6th in Hyeongyeong-myeon, Mangun-myeon, and Unnam-myeon, on the 7th in Mongtan-myeon and Illo-eup, and finally on the 10th in Cheonggye-myeon and Samhyang-eup. It served as an opportunity to directly listen to the voices of residents and have honest conversations about the future direction of county administration.

Before starting the dialogue, County Mayor Kim San expressed his gratitude to the residents who cooperated in the recent passenger plane accident recovery process, emphasizing, "Now is the time for Gwangju and Jeonnam to join forces for the swift opening of Muan International Airport."
Kim San also drew attention by directly presenting the '2025 County Administration Operation Plan' for 70 projects in seven sectors to the residents, answering their questions and actively communicating with them.
The residents proposed over 130 suggestions, including improvements to living environments, road and transportation issues, expansion of agricultural infrastructure, construction and renovation of village senior centers, and large-scale development projects.
In response, County Mayor Kim San provided immediate solutions for issues that could be addressed right away and instructed departments to find alternatives through on-site inspections for matters requiring further review.
Kim San stated, "This dialogue was a valuable opportunity to inform residents about the county's major policies for 2025 and to hear a wide range of opinions without reservation," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that the valuable opinions of our residents are actively reflected in county administration."
