Deepnoid Signs Business Agreement with GIST to Advance AI Medical Image Analysis

Medical AI company Deepnoid announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the AI Policy Strategy Graduate School at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) to operate an AI-based medical imaging analysis platform.


Through this agreement, Deepnoid and GIST plan to closely collaborate on ▲ efficient operation of AI-based medical imaging analysis and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) platforms ▲ planning and discovering new medical services linked with regional hospitals ▲ establishing platform advancement strategies in response to AI technology changes ▲ expanding remote reading services and large language model (LLM)-based platform services.


Choi Woosik, CEO of Deepnoid, said, "We expect to further accelerate the practical application of AI medical imaging analysis technology through this agreement," adding, "We will strive to lead the development of medical AI technology and provide tangible benefits to both medical professionals and patients."


Kim Junha, Dean of the AI Policy Strategy Graduate School at GIST, explained, "We plan to promote various research and demonstration projects utilizing medical AI technology through cooperation with Deepnoid," and "We will continue sustained collaboration to strengthen competitiveness in the medical artificial intelligence field."


Going forward, they will strengthen cooperation in the medical AI sector to accelerate medical innovation using AI and contribute to the development of related industries.
