'RISE' Business Agreement Signed
Support for Employment and Entrepreneurship
Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office and Chonnam National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation have taken a significant step forward for nurturing talent in the environmental field and promoting regional development.
According to the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office on the 11th, the two organizations signed a business agreement for the 'Regionally Innovative University Support System (RISE)' the previous day. Through this agreement, they will cooperate in ▲nurturing environmental talent and supporting employment and entrepreneurship ▲providing region-specific education, research, and industry-academic cooperation ▲sharing infrastructure and information ▲joint research among industry, academia, and research institutes, and fostering specialized industries.
Environmental majors and researchers will be given opportunities to strengthen their practical skills. In addition, by providing customized education and research linked to the local community, they aim to nurture environmental talent and operate regular working-level councils to seek ways to collaborate.
Kim Youngwoo, head of the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office, stated, "We will strive to ensure that the region and universities can grow together through various joint projects."
