Support for Growth and Policy for Ulsan Youth
Regional Hub Expected to Serve as a Key Platform
Ulsan City will hold the ‘Regional Hub Ulsan Youth Support Center Launch Ceremony’ at 3:00 PM on March 11 at the Jongha Innovation Center.
This launch ceremony is being held to commemorate the official designation of the center as a regional hub youth support center by the Office for Government Policy Coordination on February 20. The event aims to provide practical policy support for young people.
Approximately 200 people are expected to attend, including Ulsan Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom, Ulsan City Council Acting Chair Kim Jong-seop, representatives from the Youth Foundation and Central Youth Support Center, local youth organizations, and young people from the community.
The event will feature a plaque unveiling ceremony, a tour of the center’s facilities, congratulatory remarks, an open forum for youth, and a slogan performance, among other activities.
In particular, a slogan performance under the theme ‘Challenging Youth, Soaring Ulsan! You are a Great Ulsan Youth’ will deliver a message of encouragement to Ulsan’s young people.
The Regional Hub Youth Support Center will serve as a comprehensive guide and promotional platform for youth policies, establish networks with local youth organizations and facilities, conduct surveys on youth conditions, and implement nationally commissioned and regionally specialized projects.
Mayor Kim Doo-gyeom stated, “With the launch of the Regional Hub Youth Support Center, we will ensure that Ulsan’s youth can receive policy support more smoothly,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create an environment where young people can grow and take on new challenges.”
