BNK Busan Bank Delivers 'Special Donation' to Korean Red Cross

BNK Financial Group Affiliates Join for a Total of 110 Million KRW
Special Donation Continued for 19 Years Since 2007

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) held a ceremony for the delivery of the ‘2025 Red Cross Hope Sharing Special Donation’ at the Busan branch of the Korean Red Cross on the afternoon of the 10th.

The total donation of 110 million KRW, prepared by Busan Bank together with affiliates of BNK Financial Group to support vulnerable groups and families in crisis in the local community, will be delivered as follows: 50 million KRW to the Busan branch, 40 million KRW to the Gyeongnam branch, and 20 million KRW to the Ulsan branch.

Kim Yongkyu, Head of the Management Strategy Group at Busan Bank, who attended the ceremony, said, “We hope that the special donation, which we have been contributing to the Korean Red Cross every year since 2007, will provide practical help to neighbors in need in the region,” and added, “We will continue to share warmth with the underprivileged through various sharing activities in the future.”

In September last year, Busan Bank expanded its emergency relief volunteer team, signed an ‘Emergency Disaster Relief Business Agreement’ with the Busan branch of the Korean Red Cross, and participated in flood recovery in the Gangseo-gu farm area, actively contributing to the establishment of a social safety net in preparation for disaster situations.
