KB Kookmin Bank Recommends Professor Yoon Daehee as New Outside Director Candidate

The KB Kookmin Bank Outside Director Candidate Recommendation Committee (ODCRC) announced on the 10th that Professor Yoon Dae-hee of Yonsei University Business School has been recommended as a new outside director candidate.

Professor Yoon is an accounting expert holding a Korean Certified Public Accountant license and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Yale University in the United States. He has been recognized for his research achievements, having published numerous papers in internationally renowned academic journals. He has served as an outside director at Korea Investment Holdings and Korea Investment & Securities, an advisory member of the Financial Supervisory Service, and a review committee member of the Korea Exchange.

The ODCRC stated, "To respond to challenging market conditions such as high inflation and high exchange rates, we selected candidate Yoon, who possesses deep understanding and extensive experience in domestic and international financial environments and corporate accounting, as the new outside director candidate in the accounting field." The committee selected the final candidate through five meetings, three rounds of candidate screening, and qualification verification procedures. The term of office is two years.

In addition, outside directors Seo Tae-jong and Moon Soo-bok were recommended as candidates for reappointment with a one-year term. They are scheduled to be officially appointed following the regular shareholders' meeting on the 25th.
