Enhancing Fairness and Trust in the Personnel System
by Reflecting Employees' Opinions
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced on the 10th that it held the inauguration ceremony for the '1st Empathy Advisory Group' at its headquarters in Jinju, Gyeongnam, and officially began activities to improve the personnel system.
The 'Empathy Advisory Group' is an internal advisory body formed to collect employees' opinions on overall personnel systems such as recruitment, promotion, and transfer. It consists of a total of 100 employees from the headquarters and field departments.
At the '1st Empathy Advisory Group Launch Ceremony' held at the Jinju Headquarters in Gyeongnam, attendees, including Lee Byung-chul, Vice President of Jungjingong (4th from the left in the front row), are taking a commemorative photo.
Through regular meetings, the Empathy Advisory Group will perform roles such as ▲ exploring directions for personnel system improvement ▲ serving as a communication channel with MZ generation employees ▲ making suggestions to strengthen fairness and trust in the personnel system.
About 30 executives and employees from the headquarters, including Vice President Lee Byung-cheol of SBC, attended the inauguration ceremony, and during the first meeting held afterward, various opinions on the personnel system were shared and discussed for improvement directions.
In response to the recent emphasis on job- and performance-centered personnel management in public institutions, SBC plans to focus on establishing a fairer and more transparent personnel system through communication with employees.
Vice President Lee Byung-cheol said, “The launch of the Empathy Advisory Group will be a starting point for the sustainable development of the institution and the improvement of employees' quality of life,” adding, “We will continue to actively reflect employees' voices for personnel system improvement and do our best to derive practical improvement directions.”
