A Strong Pillar of Support for Chungcheongnam-do Residents Expected
On the afternoon of the 10th, Chungcheongnam-do held the opening ceremony of the Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Counseling Center at the main auditorium of the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation headquarters, with Park Jongbok, the Provincial Director of Economic Planning, Ahn Jonghyuk, Chairman of the Provincial Council Planning and Economy Committee, and Lee Junghwa, Provincial Council Member, in attendance.
The Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Counseling Center, which officially began operations on this day, will provide financial counseling to financially vulnerable groups in the province who are struggling with excessive debt and support systematic debt adjustment.
In addition, the center will offer services such as guidance on relevant systems, assistance with document preparation, and court accompaniment, and plans to link customized employment and welfare programs to help ensure sustainable economic self-reliance.
The Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Counseling Center will also open its Western Center on the 11th and its Eastern Center on the 12th, establishing a full operational system.
Financial welfare counseling will be available by appointment for in-person consultations as well as by phone, and support will be provided to financially vulnerable groups such as those with multiple debts, overdue debts, and self-employed individuals who have suspended or closed their businesses.
Park Jongbok, Provincial Director of Economic Planning, stated, "The Chungcheongnam-do Financial Welfare Counseling Center will go beyond simple counseling to provide practical solutions," and added, "We will spare no effort to ensure that the center becomes a strong pillar for residents and a driving force for the recovery of the local economy."
