In the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 9th (local time), he received 5.076 points, rising 7 places from 14th last week. He surpassed his previous best ranking (12th). He earned points by winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a PGA Tour signature event with a total prize money of $20 million, held at Bay Hill Golf and Lodge (par 72) in Orlando, Florida, USA. This was his 5th career victory, his first in 2 years and 4 months since winning the World Wide Technology Championship in November 2022. The winner's prize money was $4 million (approximately 5.8 billion KRW).


Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Xander Schauffele (USA) maintained the top 3 positions. Colin Morikawa (USA), the runner-up of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, rose one place to 4th. Im Sung-jae is 22nd, Kim Joo-hyung 28th, An Byeong-hun 32nd, and Kim Si-woo is 68th. Karl Phillips (Australia), the winner of the Puerto Rico Open, jumped 140 places from 246th last week to 106th.
