Since President Yoon Seok-yeol's release, a fierce public opinion battle has been raging against the Constitutional Court. In particular, the Constitutional Court's website bulletin board is experiencing a surge in visitors to the point where a waiting queue appears.
As of the morning of the 10th, when pressing the post button to write on the Constitutional Court's website 'Free Board,' a message saying "There are currently many users, service access is on hold" appears. The waiting queue has exceeded 400 people. Supporters and opponents of the impeachment are competitively flocking to express their opinions on the Constitutional Court's website bulletin board.
On the day of the release, the 8th, 14,574 new posts were written on the board, while on the 9th, 166,180 posts, and on the 10th, 146,055 posts (as of the morning of the 10th) were posted. The board contains posts supporting President Yoon's impeachment, such as "Dismiss the destroyer of the constitution" and "Unanimously decide to impeach Yoon Seok-yeol," as well as posts opposing the impeachment, such as "Absolutely oppose illegal impeachment" and "Dismiss the fraudulent impeachment immediately." Although numerous opinions for and against impeachment have been posted on the Constitutional Court's Free Board over time, the current surge appears to be due to the coincidence of President Yoon's release on the 8th and the imminent decision on the impeachment trial by the Constitutional Court.

Meanwhile, there is a forecast that the Constitutional Court will conclude the hearing of President Yoon's impeachment trial and deliver a verdict as early as the 14th. Initially, the legal community had considered the 14th as the most likely date for the ruling, based on the precedent that decisions in the impeachment trials of former Presidents Roh Moo-hyun and Park Geun-hye were announced on a Friday about two weeks after the conclusion of arguments.
Once the impeachment ruling is announced, it takes effect immediately. If the impeachment is upheld, President Yoon will be removed from office; if dismissed, President Yoon will resume presidential duties. However, since President Yoon's side is comprehensively contesting procedural and substantive issues in the impeachment trial, there is a considerable expectation that the Constitutional Court will have more items to review, leading to longer deliberations than before. In this case, it is anticipated that the ruling could take an additional one to two weeks.
