CEO Won Jihyun: “ZVZO at the Center of Creator-Driven Commerce Transformation”

Doers, the operator of the platform 'ZVZO' that connects influencers and brands, announced on the 10th that it has secured 10 billion KRW in investment during its Series A round. All of Doers' existing venture capitalists (VCs) ? Base Ventures, Korea Investment Partners, and Fast Ventures ? participated in the follow-up investment, while Murex Partners and IMM Investment joined as new investors. Notably, Base Ventures, which led the seed round and participated in the pre-A round, once again led this round.

Founded in November 2023 by CEO Won Ji-hyun, former COO and co-founder of Watcha, together with Director Kim Yoo-jun, former CTO of Ably, Doers secured seed investment within three weeks of its establishment and completed its pre-A round investment by launching the ZVZO service in May 2024, just six months later. ZVZO has demonstrated profitability by growing its transaction volume at a rapid pace of over 10% weekly and approaching the monthly break-even point (BEP). Within about eight months since its launch, it successfully raised 10 billion KRW in Series A investment.

Yang Hyung-jun, Director at Base Ventures who led this investment, said, "As media diversifies, the influence of creators in the commerce sector is becoming increasingly absolute. Doers has shown outstanding execution by focusing solely on the essence that brands, creators, and customers want, and we have strong confidence that they will successfully expand both their category and globally. This trust led us to lead this round again despite the investment winter."

ZVZO is a platform where brands or distributors communicate directly with creators or influencer managers to conduct marketing that translates into sales. Through ZVZO, creators introduce products they recommend to their followers (subscribers) on their own SNS channels such as Instagram, YouTube, Naver, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Threads, earning revenue from brands. They can also easily offer exclusive discounts to their followers. ZVZO has made influencer marketing cooperation, which was previously difficult to verify for effectiveness and required significant operational effort, fast, easy, and capable of immediate effect measurement. Since its launch, the number of client companies has rapidly expanded from about 20 to approximately 400 in just over eight months.

Won Ji-hyun, CEO of Doers, said, "At this moment when the massive flow of consumption is being reorganized around creators, Doers' ZVZO stands at the center of this change. ZVZO has created a structure where creators, brands, and customers all win, and we will do everything to help creators who are leading the commerce scene grow and succeed even more."
