2025 Marketing Support Project Integrated Announcement
Support for Online and Offline Product Sales
Expansion of Exclusive Sales Venues for SME Products from 6 to 8 Locations
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in developing sales channels.
On the 10th, the Ministry announced that it will conduct an integrated announcement for the 2025 marketing support project. This year, a total of 15.96 billion KRW will be allocated to four programs: online sales channel support, offline sales channel support, exclusive sales venues for SME products, and joint A/S support.
For online sales channel support, MD consulting is provided to SMEs of small size or larger, and marketing costs are supported to help them enter online distribution networks such as e-commerce and home shopping. Offline, initial entry and promotional activities are supported to help SMEs settle in large distribution networks such as department stores and large marts. Purchase consultation meetings linked with corporate fairs hosted by local governments are also held, providing opportunities to develop sales channels through buyer consultations.
In addition, exclusive sales venues for SME products, where only SME products can be sold, are operated. These exclusive sales venues are installed in locations such as Incheon International Airport duty-free zones and department stores, currently operating six locations, with plans to add two more in the second half of the year, expanding to a total of eight locations. The exclusive sales venues apply lower sales commission rates compared to other distribution channels and support sales personnel.
To support after-sales service following product sales, a joint A/S call center is operated to handle consumer product consultations and assist with repairs by connecting with professional repair agencies.
Lee Soon-bae, Director of Global Growth Policy at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, "Many SMEs are struggling to develop sales channels amid the recent difficult domestic economy," adding, "We will support excellent SMEs to smoothly enter the private market by cooperating with private distribution channels."
