One-on-One Employment Consulting for Young Job Seekers Aged 19 to 39 Until October This Year
Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced on the 10th that it will launch the ‘2025 Seocho-gu 1:1 Employment Consulting’ program, which provides one-on-one guidance on writing Korean and English resumes and interview know-how for young job seekers.
This employment consulting program targets young people aged 19 to 39 and is divided into two groups: the ‘Resume Editing Class’ and the ‘Interview Preparation Class.’ Applicants can choose one of these classes and receive about one hour of consulting per person. The consulting sessions will be held online every Monday to Wednesday until October this year.
In the ‘Resume Editing Class,’ the applicant’s resume is reviewed together to improve its completeness. Suggestions for improvements and directions for each section are provided, along with effective strategies for passing document screening.
In the ‘Interview Preparation Class,’ self-introductions and expected questions are analyzed, and personalized interview consulting is offered according to the interview types of the applicant’s field and company. This aims to provide practical help to young people struggling with interview preparation and to boost their confidence.
In particular, starting this year, the number of consulting sessions, which was previously limited to a maximum of three per person, will be expanded to unlimited sessions exclusively for Seocho-gu residents, providing continuous support until employment is secured. Additionally, the number of English consulting sessions will increase from the existing 100 to 120 sessions, offering more opportunities for young people preparing for foreign companies or overseas employment.
Youth who wish to apply for consulting can fill out the application form via the QR code on the recruitment poster. Applications are accepted at any time, and registration closes two days before the consulting date. Selected applicants will be individually notified by phone 2 to 5 days before the consulting session.
Mayor Jeon Seong-su said, “I hope this employment consulting program will be a practical opportunity to strengthen the employment capabilities of young job seekers,” and added, “Starting this year, we will provide unlimited employment consulting for Seocho-gu youth, and we will continue to offer unwavering support in various fields until the day of successful employment with infinite encouragement.”
