Hyundai Glovis announced on the 10th that it participated in the 'World Breakbulk Expo (WBX) 2025' held on the 6th and 7th (local time) at the Shanghai World Expo Convention Center in China.

WBX is the world's largest international exhibition related to breakbulk (heavy cargo) held annually in the Asia region since 2013. This year, it was held on the largest scale ever. More than 8,000 experts and professionals from 150 companies across 60 countries worldwide participated to understand the global special cargo market trends and promote their companies and marketing.

At this expo, Hyundai Glovis focused on introducing its shipping business capabilities using a large fleet of over 100 car carriers and bulk carriers to global shippers including those in China, as well as the status of its project logistics business.

As of the end of last year, Hyundai Glovis operates 98 car carriers and 21 bulk carriers. Considering the characteristics of breakbulk cargo, such as heavy equipment and power generation facilities, which are large and irregular in size, the company maintains two types of vessels. Hyundai Glovis explained that it targeted potential customers by emphasizing the advantage of customized transportation for various bulk cargo.

End-to-end (E2E) logistics solutions were also actively promoted as a core competency. The E2E solution is a service that integrally manages all logistics processes from the cargo's origin to its final destination. Based on a global network of over 100 overseas bases, Hyundai Glovis provides one-stop logistics services by linking sea transportation with land transportation.

Hyundai Glovis is continuously discovering new shippers to strengthen its competitiveness in the shipping business. Along with the growth of its core car carrier shipping business, it is focusing its capabilities on special cargo sea transportation as part of portfolio diversification.

To expand its business in earnest, starting with China, Hyundai Glovis plans to actively participate in breakbulk exhibitions held in the United States and Europe to attract new customers and build its sales network.

A Hyundai Glovis official said, "By leveraging Hyundai Glovis' unique breakbulk transportation capabilities and expertise, we will further strengthen our global competitiveness and sales network, and solidify our position as a global top-tier integrated logistics company."
