The education will be held twice a week from April 8 to May 14, consisting of six sessions on agri-food production and processing startup technology, and two sessions on safety management technology for processed foods. A total of 30 participants will be recruited, and anyone residing in Hamyang-gun who is engaged in or planning to start a processing business is eligible to participate.

The program will be conducted by a specialized education agency. The agri-food production and processing startup technology education will cover topics such as market outlook for the food and processing industry, processing startup licensing procedures, preparation of product manufacturing reports, and on-site visits to safety management farms. The safety management technology education for processed foods will include understanding the HACCP system, related laws and regulations, and the 12-step, 7-principle approach.

Those wishing to apply should fill out the application form and plan, and submit them in person to the Agricultural Product Comprehensive Processing Center at the Hamyang-gun Agricultural Technology Center by the 28th.

Detailed information and the application form can be found in the '2025 Agricultural Product Processing Startup and HACCP Education Application Guide' on the 'County News' bulletin board of the Hamyang-gun Office website.

The county plans to give extra points to those who complete this program when applying for agricultural product processing projects, and to provide opportunities for follow-up education (practical training) and connections with outstanding local companies.
