Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is planning and operating the ‘Eunpyeong Middle-aged Life Design School’ to help middle-aged residents design the second half of their lives more proactively and start new challenges.
The ‘Eunpyeong Middle-aged Life Design School’ provides education in various life areas such as work and activities, legal and financial matters, health and leisure, and social relationships to support a fresh start and new leap for the middle-aged generation.
Before operating the middle-aged life design school education program in the second half of this year, the district will conduct a pre-demand survey on the educational curriculum from the 10th to the 31st of this month to plan a customized education program for residents. The survey targets middle-aged individuals aged 40 to 64, and participation can be done online through the district office website’s main news section or by scanning the QR code on promotional materials.
The district plans to offer specialized education programs on career exploration and life design for the middle-aged who have worked hard for their families and society, expecting high educational demand from this age group.
District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “Through this survey, we will gather diverse opinions from the middle-aged residents of Eunpyeong-gu,” and added, “We ask for active participation as we plan to continuously provide growth and development opportunities for the middle-aged generation through customized education for life redesign.”
