According to market research firm Futuresource on the 10th, Samsung Electronics recorded a 20.1% share by value and an 18.4% share by volume in the global soundbar market in 2024, maintaining the top spot for 11 years since 2014. Various soundbar products, including last year's flagship 'HW-Q990D,' received positive responses for immersive sound and the 'Q Symphony' feature that syncs with Samsung TVs.

Global media outlets also gave favorable reviews. The US media Newsweek selected the flagship HW-Q990D as an 'Editor’s Choice,' praising it as "the best surround sound among soundbars available for purchase this year." US IT media Techlicious praised the lifestyle soundbar 'HW-S800D' as "the perfect choice for consumers who value both style and design."
Samsung Electronics is strengthening its global soundbar market strategy this year by launching new products with enhanced AI-based sound quality, surround effects, and connectivity for various scenarios.
