Yongin 4 SMEs Achieve $19 Million Consultation Results at MWC 2025

Group Pavilion Established: Support for Interpretation, Transportation, and Booth Costs
Ten Companies to Be Dispatched to 'K-Premium Osaka' on the 27th

Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 10th that four local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) participating in the 'Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025' held in Barcelona, Spain, from the 3rd to the 6th, achieved consultation results worth $18.98 million (approximately 27.5172 billion KRW).

MWC is considered one of the world's top three information technology (IT) exhibitions, alongside the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the United States and the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Germany.


The city established a group pavilion at this exhibition and supported participating companies with interpretation fees, transportation costs, and booth expenses.


At the group pavilion, three companies?ThinkEye, Dekist, SC Solution Global, and Doobi Computing?participated, achieving 89 consultations worth $19.89 million. This represents a 192% increase compared to the $6.51 million consultation results from the city’s group pavilion at the same exhibition last year.


At the exhibition, ThinkEye showcased an artificial intelligence (AI) solution-based traffic accident risk detector and biometric signal detector; Dekist presented wireless Internet of Things (IoT) sensors measuring temperature, humidity, fine dust, and harmful gases; SC Solution Global introduced an AI-powered leak prediction and detection device; and Doobi Computing exhibited a micro data center, a compact data center replacement that can perform the functions of a computer room simply by connecting power.


The city plans to support 10 local SMEs by setting up a group pavilion at the 'K-Premium Consumer Goods Expo (KOREA EXPO OSAKA)' to be held in Osaka, Japan, on the 27th.


A city official stated, "Through the operation of the group pavilion, we were able to effectively promote our companies' excellent technologies on the global stage and achieve business results. We will continue to spare no effort in supporting capable local SMEs to actively expand overseas."
