On the 9th (local time), at the Prince of Wales Country Club in Santiago, Chile (par 71, 7,134 yards), the final round of the PGA Tour Korn Ferry (2nd tier) Astara Chile Classic (total prize money $1 million) ended with Kim struggling with a 3-over-par 74, finishing tied for 34th place. Until the previous day, he was tied for 6th place, 4 strokes behind, raising hopes for a comeback victory, but he lacked the finishing strength. He made 3 birdies and 6 bogeys. On 11 holes, he exchanged 2 birdies and 2 bogeys, maintaining his score, but collapsed with 4 consecutive bogeys from holes 12 to 15.

Logan McAlister (USA) shot a 7-under-par 64 to secure a one-stroke victory (19-under-par 265). He claimed the top spot for the first time in his career and received a winner's prize of $180,000 (approximately 260 million KRW). Davis Chatfield finished 2nd (18-under-par 266), and four players including Cole Hammer (USA) and Hirata Gensei (Japan) tied for 3rd place (15-under-par 269). No Seung-yeol failed to advance to the final round after not reducing his score in the 1st and 2nd rounds.
