Premium TV Sales Rise Thanks to AI Subscription Club
Half of Subscribers Drawn by Free Repair Benefits, Driving Popularity

Samsung Electronics announced on the 9th that the number of buyers subscribing to premium TVs through the 'AI Subscription Club,' launched in December last year, has more than doubled compared to the initial launch period.


In February alone, half of the customers who purchased 'Samsung Electronics Neo QLED·OLED' chose the AI Subscription Club, which is analyzed to have contributed to an increase in premium TV sales.

From December last year to February this year, sales of Neo QLED·OLED increased by more than 10% compared to the same period last year.


Samsung Electronics explained that the AI Subscription Club has gained consumer favor because it lowers the initial purchase cost burden for relatively high-priced premium TVs.


Another factor contributing to the popularity of TV subscriptions is that subscribers to the AI Subscription Club can receive free repair services from Samsung Electronics' professional engineers for up to five years.


Im Seong-taek, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "The number of consumers interested in the AI Subscription Club among those who want to purchase premium TVs is increasing," adding, "The AI Subscription Club is the optimal way to experience premium TVs over a long period."
