The Daegu Dalseong County and the Dalseong Cultural Foundation will host a cultural event commemorating the 30th anniversary of Daegu's incorporation and local autonomy on the 15th at 5 PM at the temporary public parking lot of Seolhwa Myeonggok Station.
This cultural event, held under Dalseong County's commemorative slogan, "30 Years Made Together, 100 Years of Dalseong to Shine Together," will reflect on the development of Dalseong County as part of Daegu City over the past 30 years since its incorporation on March 1, 1995. It aims to celebrate the achievements of 270,000 residents under local autonomy and to mark another leap forward for Dalseong County.
The event will be divided into two parts: the first part is a commemorative ceremony to honor the significance of Daegu's incorporation and local autonomy, and the second part is a celebratory concert. The commemorative ceremony will feature congratulatory speeches for the 30th anniversary by Dalseong County Mayor Choi Jaehoon and other distinguished guests, a commemorative video screening, and a special performance.
The second part, the concert, will open with a dynamic performance by the dance girl group Brand New Girl. The male vocal ensemble B.O.S, known for their sweet voices, will deliver a deeply moving stage, followed by singer Hwang Garam, who has recently gained much popularity with "I Am a Firefly," delivering an emotionally resonant performance. Additionally, trot singer Jeon Yujin will energize the venue with her bright presence, and finally, the concert will conclude with a passionate finale by singer Sohyang, renowned for her powerful vocals.
Choi Jaehoon, Mayor of Daegu Dalseong County, stated, "I am very pleased to be able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Daegu's incorporation and local autonomy together with our residents. I will continue to strive so that the remarkable progress achieved with our residents over the past 30 years will continue, making Dalseong the central city of Daegu's next 100 years."
An official from Daegu Dalseong County requested, "As parking at the event site is very limited, we kindly ask visitors to use public transportation whenever possible."
