Gyeongju City announced on the 9th that Jeon Jeongsung, CEO of Daegyeong Safety Consulting Co., Ltd., has donated 20 million KRW, the highest individual limit for the Gyeongju Love Donation, making him the city's second high-value donor of the year.
Additionally, this year, he plans to donate return gifts worth about 6 million KRW to Hyeongok-myeon, Gyeongju City.

CEO Jeon, a native of Hyeongok-myeon in Gyeongju, currently operates Daegyeong Safety Consulting Co., Ltd., a construction safety and prevention company in Daegu, as well as Zauber, an advertising materials manufacturer. He has consistently engaged in philanthropy and donations for his hometown over the years.
Notably, in both 2023, the first year of the Hometown Love Donation Program, and last year, he donated 5 million KRW each year, totaling 10 million KRW.
Jeon Jeongsung said, "I am happy to be able to participate in the Hometown Love Donation again this year," and added, "It is rewarding to put my heartfelt feelings for my hometown into action."
Joo Nakyoung, Mayor of Gyeongju, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for embodying your love for your hometown. We will repay your warm-heartedness with the development of the region."
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate to regions other than their registered address, receiving both tax deductions and return gifts worth 30% of the donation amount. Starting this year, the donation limit has been raised from 5 million KRW to 20 million KRW.
