The Korea Tourism Organization announced that it has launched a same-day travel package called 'Mirigabom - Southern Sea Spring Flowers Edition' on the 7th, in collaboration with Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL), Busan Metropolitan City, and Busan Tourism Organization.
The Mirigabom - Southern Sea Spring Flowers Edition is a same-day round-trip travel package to Busan via the KTX Jungang Line (Cheongnyangni~Bujeon), which opened in December last year. The package includes round-trip KTX tickets, admission fees to tourist attractions, and group bus transportation costs. Dinner and lunch expenses and travel insurance costs must be borne separately.
This travel package is designed for tourists from the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon region. Utilizing Busan's early blooming season, it is themed 'The First Spring Flowers You Meet' and will operate twice in total, once each on March 26 and 27.
In particular, the 50% train discount, a major benefit of the domestic travel promotion campaign 'Travel Month,' is applied, allowing travelers departing from Andong Station to enjoy the trip at prices in the 40,000 KRW range, and those departing from Cheongnyangni Station at prices in the 90,000 KRW range.
After arriving in Busan, travelers can fully enjoy Busan's spring flowers through activities such as a yacht tour, a cherry blossom walk along Haeundae Dalmaji-gil Moon Tan Road, riding the Blue Line Park coastal train, and viewing daffodils and canola flowers at Oryukdo Sunrise Park. Each session recruits 100 people, and detailed information can be found on KORAIL Talk, LetsKorail website, and others.
Lee Dong-wook, head of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, said, "The Tourism Organization is planning train packages on the Donghae Line to enhance accessibility by linking with railroads and to promote the unique attractions of the region. We will also make various efforts to alleviate the concentration of foreign tourists in the Seoul metropolitan area by launching products exclusively for foreign tourists."
