On the same day, Mayor Oh stated through social media (SNS), "I welcome the court's decision to release President Yoon," adding, "Respecting the court's lawful judgment is fundamental to democracy."
He continued, "The Democratic Party cannot abandon its instinct to threaten, saying 'If released, we will hold the Prosecutor General accountable,'" and said, "The Democratic Party threatens to impeach judges if they issue unfavorable rulings and to impeach the Prosecutor General if investigations do not go their way. Isn't the Democratic Party, which tries to manipulate even the constitutional order to suit its own tastes, truly a domestic insurgent force?"
Mayor Oh criticized, "Attempts to destroy the rule of law through political pressure must stop immediately."
